Description
Captain Atom, and some of the more prominent women in his life as a Superhero since about 1987 until 2011. Some had an intimate relationship with him, some were good friends, and some have tried to kill him. There are probably others but as i said these are the more prominent ones that i can remember. Their appearances are not completely accurate to the comics, but as i would draw them.Starting roughly in order of meeting.
Eve Eden aka 'Nightshade', the pale skinned girl with the mask. Has the power to manipulate darkness in nearly any manner she wishes, including into solid forms, Nightshade was very briefly involved with the Captain before their respective paths took them in different directions.
Bette Sans Souci aka 'Plastique', the red haired woman in purple. Originally a terrorist foe, then eventually falling in love and becoming engaged and marrying Captain Atom. The marriage didn't last.
Catherine Cobert, dark haired woman in beige. A UN liaison and very much the rock for the uncertain Captain when he was leading the Justice League Europe. There was a good romantic spark between them but ultimately events resulted in Captain Atom being hurled through time and the relationship effectively ended before it really began.
Kara Zor-L aka Karen Starr aka 'Powergirl' the blonde with the red cape. Fellow Justice League Europe teamate, devils advocate and in spite of an argumentative and near hostile start, was a remarkably good friend. ( My fan story relationship for them was basically built on the idea of that friendship growing closer, because why not ? ) She has had a tendency for knocking the Captain about either when influenced/controlled or when she feels he's being an idiot.
Maxima, bright red haired woman in green and gold. The former Superman foe very briefly worked alongside the Captain in his more pro-active Justice League splinter group, and even considered him as a possible romantic suitor which developed into a briefly tender relationship, but the Captain was due to marry Bette Sans Souci/Plastique, and the revelation upset her somewhat. She shifted to being a friend.
Angela Spica aka 'The Engineer', silver skinned woman. During Captain Atoms time being trapped in the Wildstorm universe, he encountered and fell in love with the Engineer. When it appeared that his existence threatened her universe, she attempted to kill him in spite of any romantic feeling towards him.

He really hasn't had much luck with love, if you think about it

Agreed, romance does seem to turn bad for him.

Always love a reference guide to your work and the people in your universe, especially involving such beautiful woman, friends and enemies.

Thanks, it always seemed a good idea to me to provide some information about the less well known characters i'm using and drawing if they are from DC/Marvel/2000AD/etc since not everyone has read the comics.
