Description
Kara really was beginning to consider avoiding Japan whenever possible. Finding herself in a team up with the young Japanese Toyman Hiro Okamura to prevent the theft of a 'Goop gun' that Hiro was working on as a non lethal weapon.

Confronting the thieves, Kara then found herself somewhat embarrassingly, on the receiving end of a prototype version of the weapon that was designed to stop Kryptonians as she was gooped by a synthetic kryptonite adhesive. The synthetic kryptonite was created from S.T.A.R. Labs and possessed such a low level of radiation that it would in theory, merely cut off the majority of a kryptonians abilities rather than kill.

In the end, events resulted with Toyman actually saving Powergirl, for which in return she agreed to pose for a quick victory photo with the smitten boy, reasoning that even covered in glowing green goop, it's not as though there weren't already plenty of photos printed of her where she had even less dignity and far less remaining of her costume.

Frankly though, Kara felt she could murder for a hot shower to remove the remaining goop still clinging to her, and called for a pickup.

( Inspired by an idea provided by and decidedly in the mold of the Palmiotti/Gray/Conner run, i tried to give this picture a touch of mild humour, with Powergirl as ever, taking everything squarely on the chin. )

( The version of Toyman i used was based heavily on the 'Batman Superman Public Enemies' comic and animated movie, both are worth a look, though i prefer parts of the animated movie )
