Description
Powergirl meets Death in a montage of Captain Atom and several other DC characters that the Captain has encountered.

The other characters in the montage are the Earth elemental 'Swamp Thing' and the Air elemental 'Red Tornado', the villainous 'Monarch's helmet is in the background along with Superman's 'S' shield ( Superman casts a long shadow, being the model of heroism that Captain Atom aspires to and tends to appear envious of, while Powergirl holds Superman, her -sort-of- cousin, in a similar light ). At the very back is the alien entity that was in part responsible for the creation of Captain Atom, called the 'Silver Shield', massively powerful ( far more powerful than Captain Atom ), but benign in nature. And at the very front is 'Death' from the Sandman comics, created by Neil Gaiman she has sadly made very few appearances in the mainstream DC universe and is one of the nicest characters i can think of ( and collector of floppy hats ).
