Galaxy Angel is something of an acquired taste, being an exceptionally daft, arguably low budget sci-fi comedy anime series, but is endearingly so. I found the show unusual due to each episode being only 15 minutes in length and after the first season, were viewable in almost any order, with each episode being more or less a stand alone tale of bizarre but fun sci-fi silliness.

Forte Stollen is effectively the leader of the 5 girl Angel Brigade team, being serious, tough, a bit of a gambler with a preference for direct action and worryingly fond of military hardware. She was also has a single serious toned episode in each season ( though hardly 'dark' they aren't that daft ) .
