Description
The Joker makes an ill advised move on the tempestuous Kryptonian as she tracks down the Harley Quinn and the missing Captain Atom...I had the idea of fielding the Joker against Powergirl a while back ( when i did the picture of Harley riding Captain Atom ) but it wasn't until a recent Batgirl Cover that caused some ripples that i had a proper idea to work with, so this is a homage of sorts to the technically unpublished Batgirl cover.
The Joker never really came into the sphere of characters like Power Girl in the proper DC Universe, but she probably would have dealt with 'Batman's Greatest Foe TM' ( or most over rated foe in my opinion ) with the same speed Captain Atom took out Aquaman's arch foe Black Manta many years ago ( it wasn't even a fight, mostly Manta running away

Well he's the greatest Bat-Villain.... back when Dennis O'Neil was in charge, after that it's mostly down the rain man ! They've sucked all the fun outta the Joker and ended up sucking full stop...
Though "Batman Europe" was a good mini with both characters.

"Batman Europe" pulled the great move f bringing 90s Batman and Joker back ! And yes, you need very specific writers to get the Joker right. Paul Dini, Chuck Dixon, JM DeMatteis, Bob Hall, Dennis O'Neil being the Top of the crop... then again, take your pickΒ Smiling Like A Killer...AHAHAHAHAHAHAAA ! He was unconscious afterward, but he did indeed laugh at a later point. He managed to laugh for roughly a second and a half in Injustice.

They (DC) are really weird about Power Girl making her way weaker then Superman, putting her in the corner. and now outright banishing herΒ

Funny thing is Her and Harley Quinn are starring in a miniseries in June, not sure which version of Power Girl they are using but considering the events of convergence it could be the any version.

Several hours ago so called super villain known simply as the Joker was found in back alley badly beaten. Police is unsure who was the assailant, but according to our sources Batman was lastly seen dealing with a crisis out of state. Joker according to our source Β only said: that it was totally worth it with a silly grin.

Even if Power-Girl even knew how to laugh (doubt it) the thing I loved about that cover is that it showed that Joker should damn well be feared as a supervillain
