A tribute picture to yesterdays Man of Tomorrow, the Superman who emerged from DC's 1986 reboot made it clear that he was Clark Kent first, and Superman second, which was in contrast to the previous versions Clark Kent being a disguise for Superman.

In the comics Superman was an inspiration to his fellow heroes, his good nature and self control made him the exemplar to those who followed, but behind that image he was very much a man, and some of his best stories empathised that he was 'Super MAN', and that there were some things that he just could not do. Yet that would not stop him from pushing himself to try.

At least, that's how i always saw him
