Or to be more exact, Superman Vs my version of Brainiac.Taking inspiration from the early 1980's version that i was familiar with, ( i had no idea about the green alien version being the original so i was baffled as to why in the late 1980's they turned him from an intimidating alien robot into a less than intimidating green alien ) i have also taken inspiration from the animated Superman series by making Brainiac of Kryptonian origin and used the Crystal tech look of the Superman movies.

Yeah, they I also never understood why they didn't keep him as a Machine...Especialy with mechanical vilians beeing more and more popular during the time they done it(V'Ger and the Borg from Star Trek, Skynet, etc). If I read right, they even had Brainiac as human psychic mutant in the early 90's...

Yeah, in the post 1986 DC Universe Brainiac was a green skinned alien again like he was when he was first introduced in the 1960's, he then transferred his mind into a human psychic, which was Brainiac for a fair few years.
