Description
OK, I'm replacing Hansi with this. Thanks to everyone who informed me that I was unable to post the Hansi cover; I did not know.
I am replacing the the Hansi because I cannot delete it. Every time I try, I get an ERROR message. I dont' want to get into trouble, so here's a convention sketch of Alice.

I don't see what is offensive in this cover.
As a matter of fact, it could have been a picture, because it was a fact Nazis received support from a big part of the population. It is also a fact the Nazis received support from a somewhat large part of ther countries' populations too, and not only in Europe. There's been nazi and nazi-inspired parties inthe US, too.
But then, they were ignorant of what was to come.
They also lived a major crisis that helped the nazis emerge as potential saviours, even if their way to overcome crisis was heinous and short sighted.
We judge now with a 60+ years distance in the future, with knowledge and also a very different mentality.
To get back to the cover, I don't see what is shocking in depicting a part of reality.
What is shocking is that some people in the world start daydreaming about a nazi world today when they see this kind of inconography.

Don't forget that the crisis was designed by Hitler, much like the New World Order and members of the Illuminati manufactured 9/11 and blamed it on the middle east so they could attack them and acquire their oil.

I find it strange that in the years since WWII people have found the swastika MORE offensive rather than LESS. I guess we associate it with neo-nazism and generalized white-supremacists more, nowadays. Those guys really need to think up a new design....

I think it's just become an easy target for "evil" and in our modern society, no one really wants to explore or look deeper into it--otherwise you're called a Nazi sympathist.

I love it in the same respect that you do. I'm so exhausted by political correctness and I think many folks are as well.
As a graphic designer, I've always felt that the Swastika (which predates Nazism my millennia, as it was and still is a buddhist symbol representing well-being or something of that order...) and many other World War German design and graphic motifs are so incredibly powerful.
However, this should probably be in your journal rather than your gallery. But these little tidbits are priceless.

Correct, many of their symbols were derived from Nordic and Druidic mytholigies and belief systems, it's interesting to research symbols.

I agree whole-heartedly. In comics, you'll notice that the most popular characters all have symbols/icons (Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, etc.). No religious or social movement can advance too far without one.
The symbols Obama used in his campaign were so well-presented and powerful; from the iconic "O" to the Shepard Fairey posters and the rest. Some have said the symbol overshadows the message in the case of Pres. Obama.
I'm always mindful of symbols and the social influence and impact.

Awesome... I love this... At first glance one would think it's a Nazi Propaganda comic... There's nothing to suggest that it's actually a Christian comic. 'The girl who loved the swastika' haha.
I love Roy-Lichtensteinian style (for lack of a better expression). Instant gratification, thanks for sharing.

It's weird looking at that. It reminds me of a dream I had: Aliens were invading the Earth and pretty much every nation was pulling together to fight. One of the things I remember the most was a Nazi tank firing a shot at the alien ship in the sky. Some part of me was like "yes!" When I woke up, I was wondering why it was extra special that they got a shot off, you know? Weird. It's impossible to look at the Nazi in a positive light, which is why this cover is just...weird. It would take an alien invasion and a global strike force to make me like them.
