Description
Year: 2010Client: DC Comics/ DC Direct
Media: Pencil, PITT Pen and COPIC marker on Strathmore Drawing paper, then colored with Adobe Photoshop CS2.
This is a statue design for the Covergirls of the DCU statue line from DC Direct, on display for the first time at ToyFair in NYC. I guess it should be available for pre-order soon.
As for the concept... I thought Starfire holding her ridiculously huge head of hair like it's the train of a dress would be fun.

Awesome work! While I like the way you have done the Tammerian Princess, I do miss her original outfit from the eighties ... admitedly this is more sleek and streamlined.

I prefer how you drew her hair to the DC style...it looked huge and nappy in a gross way with theirs, and with yours it looks full and silky smooth
