You do a great job of Vampi. I bet a poster of her would be a knock-out. Great job.

Wonderfully drawn and one of the best Vampirellas I have seen so far.
She seems to be having a cold though ^^

I'd love to see like a big, hardcover, 200 page book with all these. You really set the standard for commission sketching,It's really been a big inspiration on me for my own commission sketches. I think you could draw an entire comic in marker sketches, and nobody would object

These marker sketches are cool. Her outfit looks like satin...markers are always great for satin...

Some dude said "Anatomy's all over the place on this one." ???
What sketch is he looking at?
She may have a small waist and awesome boobs that are as big as her head, but damn, that's just all part of the magic.
Love her, beautiful angle, beautiful anatomy.
~Cheers

While your work is usually stellar with your women-folk, Adam, this one in particular has one of the most stunning faces I've seen you draw. Are you approaching the structure/coloring of your faces differently in this last batch?

I'm always trying something different, trying to get better.

She's stunning, but why does she look she's catching a cold?
Seriously, pink noses on girls are indeed cute.

Nice to see the occasional color in these sketches. It really adds that special punch. Did I read somewhere that you overload your copics? Is that how you get that smooth wash effect from them, or do copics just blend that much better than prismas?

AdamHughes In reply to Talandir [2009-10-23 17:13:02 +0000 UTC]
I sometimes overload the Copis if I have to get a really smooth, continuous tone.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pony up for the expense of copics. when I can afford them anyway!

Copics blend a LOT better than prismas in my experience.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I guess I'll have to try different techniques until I can afford copics.
