Client: Wildstorm EntertainmentMedia: Pencil, Ink, and Adobe Photoshop
A cover for Alan Moore's VOODOO miniseries back in the 90s. I did 3 covers for this 4-issue miniseries, and WS asked me to do it in an Art Nouveau style because it matched the approach that interior artist Michael Lopez had come up with.

This is fantastic. Out of the art nouveau movement I love Alphonse Mucha the most, and have yet to see anyone do as good without it seeming to be an exact replica. You however have done a FANTASTIC job of capturing that same feeling and yet it being very AH!.

I drew this for Wildstorm back in 1997, when all their books were published through Image. DC Comics bought Wildstorm sometime in the late 90s.

Probably one of the most gorgeous comic covers I've ever seen, surely there's been one before but it'd be nice if there was an art exhibit somewhere of comic book covers inspired by specific art movements or famous works like this one.
