I'm a part of a brand new illustration blog, Planet Pulp, which gives monthly "missions" or themes to its rogues gallery of artists to submit illustrations for. A fantastic idea! Planet Pulp's first mission: Costume Redesign. And who needs a redesign more than ol' Mysterio? As classic as his costume is, it's a tad bit dated. This is my take on a modernized Mysterio. Okay, i like this redesign for a couple of reasons:
1: no fishbowl on his head
2: no cape
Those two things i have never liked on the character but this redesign keeps with the characters theme and it doesn't outright make him look stupid. in fact, i would love to see this design in the comics, but that's just my personal opinion.

My thought was a cross between Cobra Commander and Chriss Angel. Someone sadistic but with a flare for the dramatic.

well in my opinions the best villains are the goblins of course the spot hydroman and sandman and the chameleon lol

COBRAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I love Mysterio and this would totally work. It puts some mystery back into the character. You don't really know what you're going to get when he looks like this as opposed to the other original costume: you know his schemes are going to be flamboyant and flashy as hell!
