I'm a part of a brand new illustration blog, Planet Pulp, which gives monthly "missions" or themes to its rogues gallery of artists to submit illustrations for. A fantastic idea! Planet Pulp's first mission: Costume Redesign. And who needs a redesign more than ol' Mysterio? As classic as his costume is, it's a tad bit dated. This is my take on a modernized Mysterio. This is the sort of design that would get Mysterio real movie potential and for people to start taking him more serious as a villain. Great job man, great job!

I really like how you modernized it a little (That was what you were going for anyway). I also love how you took away the fishbowl and still having something slightly similar with the mask.

This redesign is amazing! I love it how you used the glass mask without using the fishbowl. Hopefully some day a cosplayer will turn this art into a reality. XD

Actually the more I look at it the more I think I'd love to see how you'd modernize other spiderman villains. But seriously good job. Mysterio is definitely my favourite vilain
