Planet Pulp Sketch #3 — The Red Skull

SS officer Johann Shmidt was forever changed after a super soldier experiment, by the Nazi Science/Occult division called Hydra, went terribly wrong. His body and mind were enhanced beyond that of and human but he was left horribly disfigured. Filled with rage, Johann killed all who were present that day and went on a vicious rampage, destroying the entire facility. But his fury could not be quenched. To cover his mangled face, he crafted a mask from the red, blood-stained skull of his last victim, Dr. Arnim Zola.

Armed with this great power and filled with hate, the sadistic Johann became the head of Hydra and became known only as the Red Skull.
