Never liked Walt's version, but some of the more faithful adaptations coming out are pretty interesting. Scottie Young posted an awesome Pinocchio on Tumblr, which prompted me to try a more macabre version (obviously, his is much better than this

Wow, can't believe you did one too. I just ask SteamJunkie to draw me up a dark Pinocchio last night for the dark series I'm starting.
Pinocchio's an interesting character, can do alot with him. I like this too btw.

Yeah, that story has a lot of potential. While I don't think Pinocchio himself was terribly dark, he was seriously flawed, and the *story* was pretty gruesome in parts. Its too bad that the Disney version has kinda replaced all that.
