Description
This piece was made for 's Lost Kids project, an original Graphic Novel he is making with artist and a host of collaborators. I took to the project right away; all-ages fantasy comics are (obviously) right up my alley. Had fun playing with perspective on this one, and incorporating the cool steampunky airships from 's fantastic concept painting: Check this project out, 'cause its got some really exciting stuff going on with it.

This was pencil and Photoshop, as usual...

edit: too much red down below, so I went for the change of seasons. I still prefer the feel of autumn, but this has a lot more depth and pop, I think.

edit 2: and, back to autumn again. Just liked the atmosphere better with this one. Did a little tinkering to make the figures pop a bit more, hopefully it reads clear this way.
