It is happening to so many people here and in other art places on the internet. It is amazing how many people are unaware of the world-wide copyright laws. I may put a link in my journal when I have time, to a very good article on the subject. It's here [link] if you would like to read about them. If someone starts to steal your work, at least you will be aware of the laws. And a good website to join to find out if anyone is ripping you off is TinEye [link]

Okay I signed up on TinEye, but am not sure how exactly to go about submitting things to be checked out.

Just right click on your photo or painting and in the drop down box click on 'Search image on TinEye'. It will then search through hundreds of websites and show you where else your work can be found.
You can use it to check other peoples work too. Have you ever seen work by someone you think they couldn't possibly do, then you can easily check. If you find they are ripping off someone else's work, then you can report them to dA.
