The big guy, himself - who doesn't love the alien hippo of the Green Lantern Corps? Kilowog is just one of those great, multilayered, classical cornerstones of the GLC, and the GL mythos in general. As a plus, he's a great visual break from the other Lanterns just by his sheer size and physical power.I've seen Kil drawn a few ways, with some looking much more cartoony - little teeny biceps and popeye-like forearms and such. Sometimes he's not even all that muscular at all, just bulky. Personally, I like giving him this size and mass just to set him off from the rest.

Shenanigans. That was a dumb idea--I mean, think about it: a field of thousands of Lanterns and the action is... silent. It's just crazy! The rings work by A) doing what you command and B) making things that work the way you imagine they would work. If you command the ring to make you a big honkin' gatling gun and you imagine it works like a real-life version of such - don't you think it would make a sound?!
Sorry, tried to hold back the rant but couldn't. Kilowog is still 100% bad-ass, it's just silly that he's the only one not starring in a silent movie.

Meh, so Johns says. But I think that's pretty dumb - could you imagine all those dinosaurs, robots, guns, and explosions GL's have made over the years if they were totally silent? It'd be really silly looking in real life
