In this issue:
"After waking up from a 2-year coma, the young heroine Telepath struggled to find her place in the changed world. Now she and her best friend Motherboard are putting together a team of teen supers to try and accomplish together what they couldn’t do on their own – but this group of misfits and loners may prove impossible to manage. Even as they struggle to find a way to work together, a monstrous new threat is released on an unsuspecting world."

The cover is a (rather obvious) homage to the famous Justice League cover by Kevin Maguire. One of the most-referenced covers of all time. Kevin was an enormous inspiration for me; his JL run was one of the first comics I ever collected as a kid, and if you ever find yourself enjoying the expressive characters I like to draw, you can thank him and Adam Hughes (who took over drawing the JL comic after he left) for teaching me that the best art is the kind where the characters have genuine emotions you can see and connect with. It was a pleasure to pay tribute to his excellent work with this cover, and I felt a responsibility to give it my best. I hope you like it as well.
