Description
This is an original character from the core cast of the comic I and my wife are developing - 'The Uniques.'Singe is just fun. He’s that guy everybody knows - the one who’s funny, so long as he’s your friend. If he’s not, he’s a complete d!ck. He straddles the line between nice guy and total ass-hole, and often jumps from one side to the other. But, in the end, you know he’s your friend and you can trust him. Even if you can’t always count on him.
Plus, he’s a blast to write. He’ll say whatever pops into his head with absolutely no thought to other people’s feelings or anything. You know that little guy that’s in your head that filters all the stuff you think as it travels from your brain to your mouth? The one who tells you it might not be a great idea to tell that ‘woman with two black eyes’ joke? Yeah, Singe doesn’t have one of those.
Oh - his tattoos are normal, black images. He always lights them up when he ‘powers up’, just because he loves the visual. Once he figured out how to use his fire powers without burning himself, he really went to town.

once again i find my self in awa..(sp?) ive seen this befor but not for awhile. i though that i was getting good at this. but now...i look like a child among adults. your work is truly inspiring. i see that i have been too lax with photo...paint ye i got the crappy version.

Whoa, I just realized he dyes his hair! His eyebrows are dark and he's got blond hair! O_O Cool! Now his mini-origin story from issue 3 makes way more sense!

Yep - we think these things out. Like at the beginning of issue 1, Telepath's hair is dyed brown, and when she wakes up in the hospital it's grown out into her natural blonde, but you can still see the brown tips from the old dye-job.

Yeah, I kinda got the "angry, punk white boy" vibe when I saw this guy. My mind keeps thinking of Eminem with this guy. Part of it might have to do that he's from the streets, had a drug abuse & alcoholic history, and hails from Detroit. But yeah, flame-powered characters are almost if not always bad asses. And of course "flaming" the tattoos makes it even sweeter.

i like the knew look - looks like you re-did his clothes a bit. glad you went with fat, skater gangster shoes too - you should pull the tongue out on the shoe and make him wear his pants behind that, you know - public enemy style.
this guy seems like the "michaelangelo" of the uniques, which in turn, makes um' my favorite

The costume's the same, though the tatoos are slightly changed. I mean, for a guy who pretty much just wears tank-tops and ratty jeans, how much variation will you get? He's not the 'costume' type.
And if we had somebody you could compare with Michaelangelo, Singe'd be it. But I hope we don't cross that line. Michaelangelo was annoying.

hahahahaha - well, if liking characters without depth, who say bad one-liners, love pizza, have wacky fighting styles, serve no purpose to the plot except to be zany comic relief, make up words like "shell-u-lar!" and skateboard is wrong then, i dont want to be right
