Yeah. I'm hoping to have these rigged, soon. I want to put them in my 3D reel with a little animation.

Rigging can be pretty difficult. It mostly depends on your inclinations. Some people are naturally technical, in this regard. I'm a little in between. I can do it, but I don't entirely enjoy the process.

Those look realy nice man.
I would say the dog looks a bit low detail, but its probably not that big in scale is it.

Thanks. No, the dog won't be very big, but I'll likely put more detail in, if there is time. However, we'll probably rely more on texturing to sell detail.

I keep thinking it would be fun to do some more 3D work, but I think I would just suck.

I doubt that. You don't ever completely lose your knowledge of 3D technique. What're you up to, these days?

Mostly working on my illustration skills. Done almost no 3D work since I left school.
Also concentrating more on paying off my loans with regular work while I slowly improving my art.

Nice. That sounds pleasant... well, you know, besides the loan payments. I got those comin' up, too.
By popular opinion of graduation advisors, I have decided, at the last minute, to switch my portfolio to Flash animation and development. I'm a little... confused about how I should feel about that. I like Flash, but it makes me wonder how much time I may have misused in school. Heh!

Haha, your good at too many things to choose a specific folio and feel like you didnt waste time. Im sure you'll land a job some place where you get to multi task, it will be hell, but it will make your existance mean something Thats uselessly deep.

Heh! Well, I dabble in many things. I need to focus on one that will make me happy and get me some work, so I can get good at it.
Have you been looking for illustration work? Shouldn't be difficult, if you find a specific area of interest (i.e. concept design, children's illustration, comic art, etc.) and create a portfolio dedicated to it.

Heh! Yeah, after the first character design was accepted, that was one theme I thought needed to be kept consistent.
