Description
The second half of a "Companions" set featuring my original characters with their respective horses. This one is a little more somber and sad, featuring Morgan with his mountain stallion, Pride. Sat down and finished this right after the first half, maybe 15-20 hours in total. Mechanical pencil and blending stick, and contrast adjusted in Photoshop.You can see the companion piece featuring Faeren here:

Wow... what a spankin idea! I really like the contrast between this piece and its companion- there's something much deeper in this bond, it seems, than in Faeren's. I love the horse's expression, it perfectly matches its master's- as if they're both suffering some sort of ordeal and they're both putting their heads down and dealing with it as a pair.
Though, I must say, you were very creative with that bit
