I honestly couldn't tell you just what about this that I love so much. Perhaps its the expression of sad calm on River's face or how young and innocent the Doctor look. Maybe it's the beautiful splashes of color or maybe it's the whole thing together. But anyway you look at it, this piece is perfect.

This is a lovely picture not just in content but in pose, color, shadow, and detail. The choices you made on how to cut off the picture are well tapered, and of course being a Who fan one cannot forget the moment he died on his watch... he lived that minute for quite a while! LOL!
