Exactly! I've even seen cases where a guy couldn't draw to save his life, but a few months he drew better than me.
But to tell you the truth, it doesn't always means constant practice everyday. Sure it's the best sure-fire way, but I've find that as long as you do your next drawing better than the previous ones, you'll improve as well.
So it's either lots of small progressions or less but bigger ones. The choice is yours!

I really like the After version! It seems to have a lot more of a haunted/sleep deprived/whats with all this mist, effect to it haha It's really sweet. They are both awesome none-the-less!

Hehe I remember where I got the creepy setting from. She reminds me of Elizabeth (from BioShock Infinite) turned 8-12, to be a little sister in the other bioshocks haha Nothing but awesome!!!! ^.^

The reason I changed to a new look was because the first one has a rather lifeless look in her face.
It's hard to do expressions with that kind of face. And with the kind of story she's in, she'd need to cry and scream a lot.

Don't get me wrong, both versions are very good. You're a far better artist then I'll ever hope to be, I just personally like the original better. But they're both amazing.

Emmm bro, Idk why you say that, but, the size of the head, the size of the body compared with the size of the head, the lips and the nose and the eyes form are really more realistic in the new version compared with the old version, and one of the more big anatomic problems in the old drawing, is really obvious, one half of the head are only hair, actually more than the half, only hair, and the other half is really little compared with the other half.
And by the way, the hair is much better in the new version. for me, the artist had a great improvement in a year.

Well if you're going to think about it seriously, it would be something along the lines of her seeing things that aren't supposed to be there.
but I prefer that she heard things like "We ran out of cookies."
