Watercolor on 140lb Cold Press watercolor paper. Pencil and a white gel pen used to outline figures. I sometimes use pen/ink for this, but I am trying for more subtle lines.

The title came before the painting. So I asked myself, what sort of things does a mermaid find in the deeps? Here's she's found what appears to be a pocket watch. Perhaps the two pirates can tell her what it is...
