Really love this one, everyone has their own opions of course, but I am somewhat surprised at some of the the negative comments on this picture.

Unfortunately, this looks like it was painted or computer generated. My honest opinion is that whatever you used to achieve the appearance did the model no favors, and she didn't do herself any favors with that expression. You generally do great work, but every one of us misses sometimes.

truth is, I'm only satisfied with maybe 1% to 5% of my shots. But I've started to publish also photos that are not my own personal top choices because sometimes you get surprised how people like a shot you considered as failed. This one is a good example. I took it 3 years ago and never published it since I wasn't convinced by the result but now it won the "Pic of the Day" contest on ModelMayhem...

Lol, Stefan, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, as if that really needed any more proof. We're all different, and those differences color what we see and perceive. Just because you and I don't think something qualifies as "great" doesn't mean we're right. I believe, personally, that its that fact alone which makes Art what it is, and always has been: Each piece of art says something different to everyone, no matter how subtle the difference.
