Description
I kind of wish I didn't have to pick between traditional and digital for this (aren't things like Anatomy and Perspective kind of useful in both?) but I went with Traditional since that's what I do.Pose is in the gallery here:
You can find more perspective and foreshortening poses in my gallery in this folder !
Pardon spelling mistakes and general rambling. I promised *shuu-bunni I'd make one of these.
DON'T FEAR THE FORESHORTENING! ATTACK IT WITH VIGOR!

Oh! I can hardly wait to see that one. That's going to be really helpful too because I can't do foreshortening without at least looking in the mirror.

This is really helpful. It isn't one of those tutorials that confuse me. It was clear enough that my little brother who was sitting next to me was able to understand it as well. (he's seven). Thank you sooo much for this tutorial!!

I have to admit, I've been looking for tutorials for foreshortening for a LONG time. This has to be the first time it's 1) made sense and 2) seemed plausible enough to do. Also, I really enjoyed the end of your author comments.
THIS. IS. FORESHORTENING!

Ahhh it's still a good method but picturing a foreshortened stick I can also see being a challenge. But it might be easier to think of a tube or a barrel

You know, this is what's helped me improve my artwork: seeing things as shapes and forms, instead of just lines. XD If that makes sense. Excellent tutorial! Can't wait to try it out sometime!

So very awesome. You are also very awesome for doing this, you're so darn helpful!
(I hate that we can't have things submitted to categories that combine digital and traditional too. So many of the works I do are a combination!)

Wow.. thank you for putting this together. This was a really helpful, simple read (stress on the 'simple' part, because often a complicated tutorial causes me to get too confused to finish ), and I'll definitely be trying to apply this in my own work.
Most excellent!
