My last place of employment had 2-person "conference rooms", which were essentially just a writing shelf and two arm chairs. Perfect for napping, but ideal for quiet conversations that could not be had in cubicle-ville. I easily see these spaces about that size (but not necessary for conferences). Anything from division and chief petty officer offices, supply store rooms, small tool maintenance shops, etc.

However, you did pique my curiosity. From outer hull to outer hull--and based upon the beam dimension of 122.0 meters, I calculate the (non-launcher) width of the pylon to be just under 3.5 meters (or just under 11.5 feet). Of course, once the interior space is accounted for...yeah, this is better suited for mek'leths, than bat'leths.

Edit: apologies, but I have no idea why DA strips the URL provided and points it to a common space page. It was meant to point to the blueprint for this ship.

> I should have mentioned in my commentary that I was allowing for structural elements, conduits and inner surface plating which is how I came about my original measurement

Yea, I definitely got that when I checked your math. Granted, there would be tremendous amounts of volume in most of our hero ships, but it's not nearly what people would assume. Almost 30 years of naval experience, with over 5 of them afloat...ships are living beasts, with all of the equivalent systems taking up large amounts of space to give them that life.
