Not intended to be similar to that of RMQ rendition but I guess thats how influencial his work is to this day throughout Star Wars design. This is my one day draw of the menacing imperial probe droid on Hoth to celebrate this epic film and like many of you Star Wars fans The Empire Strikes Back will always remain my favourite. I love how the basic cylindrical shape was the basis for many designs within this chapter of the trilogy. Cloud City, Probe Droids, Vaders Private Chamber, Carbon Freezing Chamber and the Rebel Power Generator on Hoth all cylindrical in nature shows the rich beauty of this galaxy and how that shape was utilised within the creative vernacular.
