Very fun piece of work. The spiked walls on either side on the boss fight is a nice touch. There's also Copy X's attacks and Zero's dash.

I understand about the depression, I just recently got out of my depression state, I started to show my rage in my artwork as well as my sadness.

As for adding damage, you could just say it's the beginning of the fight...
...But then again, Zero would probably have some damage to him from the previous fights...
Three things though: Zero's hair shouldn't be flying up like that, but more flowing downward since he's making a vertical leap. Second thing is that the saber's lineart would look better colored to me (would give more of an energy-feel to it). Finally, and I just noticed this now, The saber blade looks a bit off-center.
Sill looks quite cool with the colors and perspective though.

The week is over for MMZ1. The due date for MMZ2 art is May 24th, which happens to be my birthday.
I MIGHT do this week's contest. However, I think it'd be better if I submitted something for the MMZ3 or MMZ4 segment. Would anybody care to brainstorm with me?

That's what I was thinking. I'm actually considering doing a fight with Phoenix Magnius (or something like that), 'cept the ones doing the fighting will be Colonel, Vile, Bit and Byte.
It might be easier for me, actually, since the type of armor that the Zero series gives us is kinda hard for me to draw, and I do better with the rounded armor, anyway.
