Description I'm a sucker for anything that looks like it came from the atomic or molecular level so this one really grabbed me. It's an old file I drug out to render because I'm working on a much more complex image right now.

Apophysis single render image.

i must say the title got me, i really like the simplicity though, sometimes simple can say so much more.

Awesome Fractal, excellent render. A dandlion comes to my mind when I look at this.

i really like this, taken into consideration this is out of apophysis purely. amazing

I've never seen apo do things like this before so it was a lot of fun to work with.

THIS is apophysis ?!?!?!?!

Fantastic idea, and it is just so beautiful!

[one day, I'll find something I only kind of like, and then I can actually critique your work.]

I'd like to see what would happen if you played around with the colour gradient here.

That one bright line is so cool.. like an actual photon path!

Yep, it suprised me too. I've never seen apo do a wireframe quite like this. The ripple on the bottom kept me going because it was like a wave of energy.

Wonder what it would look like in red.

Truly odd thing, but when I saw this in the initial thumbnail glance, I wondered what you had managed to do that involved a pregnant woman in wireframe :-P

I do like it still tho

Looks like some kind of distortion in a system or something that still needs to be build. For some reason I really like the thick line on the left. It's like a connection to the outside. This is a very nice spiritual fractal.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to SarahTsukimi [2005-08-07 22:57:28 +0000 UTC]

That thick line gave me the most difficulty. Tried removing it but it wouldn't disappear so I bent it around trying to get some balance to the shape and location. Glad you like it though.

SarahTsukimi In reply to Aeires [2005-08-08 14:27:41 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I do like it. ^.^ I had a hunch that the line would be bothering you, haha.

Very cool and somewhat quirky. The sphere really has a sort of "personality" if that makes sense. It strikes me as being curious about its environment.

... from within the depths of a molecul ... I like it, it has the look of being simple ... yet!! complicated at the same time, so very well done man

Very cool. I love the almost monochromatic look. The different shapes and lines are very cool. Great work.

Thanks. I think you were the only one to notice that it isn't a true black/white image even though a lot of people commented that way. I'm a huge fan of wire mesh modeling images so when I saw this start to develop I had to jump on it.

Aeires In reply to WmThomas [2005-08-04 00:38:42 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. Throwing massive amounts of color at this one just didn't seem to make sense so I went with a muted gradient. Appreciate you noticing the details.

Sweetpea Pussy cat has been eyeing this ball of yarn on my monitor with an eye to do mischief! hmmm wonder which one of you is right! Is this one of those weighted line scripts?

Well, I had someone's bird fly into their monitor over one of my old flower pics.

No scripts. I have maybe 6 images ran from a script in my entire gallery.
