The Mars helicopter climbed to a new record altitude of 24 m on October 5, 2023 (Sol 933 of the Perseverance mission). The previous record altitude was 20 m and was reached on September 16, 2023 (Sol 915 of the Perseverance mission).

Because this was a pop-up flight (a hover flight), the horizontal flight distance was 0 meters and the groundspeed was 0 m/s.

Ingenuity stayed aloft for 129.5 seconds.
