I really, really admire this piece. I love how, at a glance, you understand exactly the implications that this painting conveys. The imagery is simple but not simplistic. It's also very powerful because it's simple. I love how the bright primary colors create a mood that is decidedly bold. This isn't a timid or dark piece.... It seems to shine a spotlight on the nature of this relationship.

wtf is a karaoke box? honestly it sounds like hobos caught on to the trend and incorporated they're own interior design schema...
I really like the painting you have here, and while I think the hand underneath is a great accent to the fact that this person is really in someone elses grasp.. I almost want it not to be there because it covers the image I see of the controller being an insurmountable force of power much like what it resebles, a giant tidal wave of pink.
I also like the colors... you could look at it as the pink represents flesh/humanity attempting to control the green earth/natural process. Or it could feminine against blue green masculinity. But that belays a more biased perspective and to avoid offending sensitive folks I'll refrain from addressing it...

i guess not having the hand there would change the image completely, wouldn't it? maybe i will explore that in one of my next images. thanks for the suggestion.
not too worried about offending anybody. if anybody is offended by what other people say here, that's their thing... though i don't tend to think of colors as masculine and feminine anymore...

Yeah but I dont see how anyone could not love your singing. I know if you were to start singing publicly there that the Japanize would make you into a icon. But it does sound fun

This painting is just amazing, it is simple but yet has a lot of energy with it and a great concept so well illustrated!
For me this artword represents how we, neurotic people, try to control everyone and every situation to feel confortable.. for not having all that anxiety on us.. This work represents that so well.. also, with the strong black lines makes me think of the few mind flexibility of neurotic people. is just amazing!!
