i'm all about everyone having the same potential it's just that due to our environment and other factors that life hands out, for some people it's harder to reach inside to that potential than for others. for me this picture reminded me of someone reaching inside themselves to find their own "light" that they can give to the world.

I've been all right. sorry I was such a spas the last time I saw you >.< things always get emotional in a bad way when I see family... Things are pretty much back to normal now that I'm back at work, although I still want you to do a tarot reading for me so that I can get a better sense of these waves I've been riding through.

project is... well, i tried to get going on it and it loomed too huge for me, to be honest. so i studied japanese instead, which is good but also not what i should be doing. so i've backed away from the project again and i'm just working on getting it out of me. i need to start sometime, though. it's just a bit intimidating...

man, that's exactly what happened the last two times I got brilliant ideas for an art project. they were both going to be long processes of work, and I just got overwhelmed. plus, starting on a project is my biggest weakness ;_;
