Description
A bunch of doodles based off of almost all of the members of the genus Homo within the last one million years. From the supposedly 7 foot tall individuals of heidelbergensis to tiny hobbits of Flores to the ghost populations of early humans that have been suggested to have interbred with early Homo sapiens and left no fossils, only being able to be inferred through their genetic footprints.ΒThis is another one of my attempts to depict early humans in a more cartoonish light.
I'll add a more in-depth description in a little bit

Pretty nice looking Trey, but what is it with some of the odd colors?Β Why is the Red Deer Cave person green, and Homo Heidelbergensis purple?Β Is that just because its stylized and you wanted them to stand out?

Thanks! The odd colors are just a stylized artistic liberty to make the different humans more distinguished from one another. The thing is besides Neanderthals and Homo sapiens, we really don't know for certain what skin colors some other humans might have had. I'm not saying Red Deer Cave people were actually green or Heidelbergensis were purple, it's just to convey that these people wouldn't really fit into our modern racial classifications in addition to making them look more interesting and different from one another.Β
Real Heidelbergensis were probably darker skinned.Β
