Description
This is my attempt at modeling a three-dimensional chess set based on a real chess set I own. Blender v2.67a is used for modeling, its next-gen Cycles photorealistic renderer is used for visualization. Not every chess piece is modeled yet, I'm still missing knights, queens, and kings (to be eventually finished). Also, materials and the scene itself with lighting and stuff are currently largely WIP. Hope you enjoy this little 3D experiment so far, my friends!EDIT: Added the queen and the king models. Added some reflection on the board.
This 3D chess set model is (C) .
The wooden texture is a royalty-free texture from Forrest Texture Library at [link]
