Zira supposed she's old enough to find a mate for life, but everytime someone wandered around her he got scared by her character. She was attractive in some way, but with very difficult personality. We don't choose ourselves, right? It wasn't her fault.

Suddenly, she heard a sound. She turned around and saw young lion with black mane sitting in amuzement. One more? She knew he's gonna run away, like everyone before him. But hey, while he's still here she can play with him. She half-closed her eyes, smiled a little and acted like she didn't see him,
She heard something more and suddenly the lion was walking next to her.
- Err... Hi - he said. She could easly tell he was very nervous.
- Hello.
- Err... I'm Scar - he tried to behave more self-confidence, but it was rather poor than impressive.
Scar? Strange name. But he had a scar on his eye,so that's why...
- And how about your real name? - she asked.
- Taka.
- Taka? Are you from the Pride Lands? - she knew there was the Prode Lands king, Ahadi, who had two sons - Mufasa and Taka. But how did he got this scar?
- Yes, but I don't want to talk about this. So, err...
- Are you ever supposed to be king?
Scar looked at her with suprise, but she didn't care. She has to know. And if he would be a king... Than she can't let him go.

Brother... It's easy to get rid of a brother.
- You should become the king. You seem so... strong. And smart. I bet you're smart - she smiled. That's right. Make him think he really is all of that. And one day... Become a queen!

I think Zira was the one who wanted power and kingdom. She could totally brainwash her children, then why not to make your housband kill his brother?
