This has been sitting in the archive for quite a while, and finally decided to post it.

So like a year and a half ago, and I came up with some characters for a Wingball/soccer team, and from there we expanded the universe with many dozens of spin-off character ideas. We toyed around with them a bit, and during summer before last, we had the idea that a bunch of the characters would hit the beach for some summer fun, and maybe some games of wing-volley. It's like regular volleyball, except played by folks with wings, so could make for some real aerial maneuvers.

Here we have one such team which Goldquiver was kind enough to color up. On the left is my own seagull Aidan. On the right is Enrique, normally a white dove, but the pigeon color was just too fun. And front and center are a couple that have shown up before, Kale the cardinal and his boyfriend Cena the woodpecker.
