Finished!
Took a long time, but worth the results. Done with prismacolor pencils and graphite

Anyone who is familiar with the original picture will see that the color scheme of the background is cooler; that is intentional, I added grey to basically all of it so Arwen would especially stand out.
Hardest part of the whole picture? The frakking floor, at least drawing it. Coloring wise, probably the face, to get all those tones. The bg was not bad at all, surprisingly.

You did a great job. Her dress is beautiful and the colors are nice.
Can i give a tip? You should try to undestand a little more how the perspective work, it'll give a more reallistic feeling to your painting. On this piece the floor looks a little bit off.
Sometime is very hard to put the character and the background on the same perspective. I have so much trouble with the perspectives.
So, keep studying, i think you'll do great paintings.

Oh, man, yes, I have a basic grasp on perspective; my biggest problem here was attempting to render the complicated floor pattern while keeping to perspective. I do see that I did not quite succeed there, something I'm still kicking myself over. So while I didn't see it too much while drawing it, I see it very much now.
I draw rooms and such when I'm out and have time to sit down and sketch, and the perspective is always the most difficult to grasp. So I do hope to improve more in that.

Question? did you or have you ever blended prismas by using a blending medium ~ think turp works or are there others available?

I'm afraid I've heard of no such blending tool. I do think there is a blending pencil simply for blending colored pencils, but I can't remember for certain. I just used other prismacolor colors on top of one another to blend.

This is my favourite dress Arwen wears in the whole series. I especially like your colouring- I only use colour pencils and it makes me feel inferior since DA is overwhelmed by Photoshop, so this gives me some hope

This is beautiful! The dress looks flawless with its deep color and creases that are just right. I also like the detail you put into the room, like the intricate flooring, and amazing outdoor view. Just the presence of Arwen makes the artwork pop, but the colors don't overpower each other in the least! I love this, keep up the amazing work!
