This is really helpful, although when I saw the opposite color thing, my immediate thought was "I thought blue's complementary was orange, not yellow" but I do get what you mean^^

Very helpful! Unfortunately my mind still thinks primarily in lines and doesn't consider the colors and what they'll do to the picture. This is a good rule of thumb to go with that will help me out. Thank you~♥
