I wasn’t originally planning on posting this one today. I wasn’t even planning on drawing it. But last weekend I was doodling, and imagining what Winslow would look like if he were sick, and everything got a little out of control. How out of control? Well, originally it was just going to be Little Winslow in that last panel. But then I drew a tiny clown, because I needed someone to hold the jar with the kidney in it. And then I thought, “Wouldn’t it be awesome to draw a robot surgeon with ill-fitting rubber gloves over his clamp claws?” So I added Robot Ben as well.This is what happens when absolutely no planning goes into a comic.
Also? That first panel features as many medical cliches as I could cram in there. So Winslow is in bed, with an ice pack, a thermometer, an IV, and an EKG.

A comic gets out of control? It happens to the best of us. I love Robot Ben trying so hard with those gloves, that's precious.

It's a lovely thing when one little idea turns into an entire page, an entire narrative.
I like your style--it's lean and focuses on facial expressions (I tend to forget about that while drawing comics, unfortunately).
