Description
This is a map of Eos Hyperion (known continents) from a supposed old Syrullian Scholar.Most of the islands you see in a lighter bluish green colour are uncharted lands.
The seal in the upper left is that of Gaia's tree. The red stone (the source of all guardian's power) lies below its roots. It is rumored to be located somewhere on the foreign lands of Terra de Nubis (land of the dragons), but no one really knows.
The dark and light goddess' nemesis (black leopard) and gaia (white tiger) hold up the plaque, the breath of all life coming from their nostrils.
At one point I included a hawk in here also, but ran out of space for it :sweatdrop:

I really love the stance of the two cats holding up the plaque - it just really caught my eye. Also I like the "breath of life" explanation for the swirly wind.

I'm a big fan of this map, you are so good at giving it that old world feel, it looks like the kind of thing you would find hidden in an old book, and the land mass looks so real with all the peninsulas and islands. All of the subdued colors and stamps just add so much to your map, it's very believable. Awesome job!

why is it called Eos Hyperion? Hyperion is a greek sun god.

Eos is the dawn, who opens the gates to heaven and whose tears create the morning dew. Hyperion is the Titan god of light, one of the sons of Ouranos (Heaven) and Gaia (Earth), and the father of the lights of heaven. Hyperion's name means "watcher from above" or "he who goes above" from the greek words hyper and iΓ΄n.
The animals named their place after the sky, not the land.

well oblivion is a demon world that takes place in the land of cyrodiil (spelled?). and cyrodil is only one region of the whole land itself Tamirel.
each land also has itΒ΄s own race.
it kind of remins me about your map if you are planning to have each species in their own land.

Wonderful. Maps are terribly fun to look at, it's good to see such a nice one on DA. It really makes me want to figure out what's going on in in that world.
You did a good job on this map. The colours look painted and the faint texture makes it look authentic. It's beautifully done, especially since maps are terribly hard to make and have them look good.
