Part 2 of the steps I use to CG.Note that all the tutorials I put up are made for mouse users. :3 But, tablet users are also welcome to try.
I'm not very good at explaining/pointing out things but if you wish for me to explain certain parts further, feel free to say so. (:

Oh, but how to get the lines to have a brownish color at the begining? And why? Just for smoothing perpouses, I mean, to make the art go over better, or what? And how do you get it?

it's another really good tutorial that also helped my art...somewhere in the middle it tells you how to change your lineart color, and by doing so, the colors seem softer ^^

I was just wondering. How do you get the color out of the areas where the color goes inside the hair area? That's the thing I have been wondering about but still can't figure out. Do you clean it up at the end ? If so how do you do it ? and Thx for the tutorial ^^ It helps a lot.

you put a layer about the skin color and paint over it on the new layer...thats what i do...
Example:
Hair layer
Skin layer
Lineart layer
(just to show you what i mean)

how do u erase the colors that are outside the lines? O_O

by using the erase tool? by creating layers separate from the line art, you can erase anything even going over the lines as long as its on a separate layer. Does that answer your question?? ^.^;

umm....well....there isnt a simple way except by making layers..thats how I do it. I <3 layers.
No i dont have a tutorial for coloring hair sorry....i'm not the best artist yet but you probably could find some tutorials... might have some. Yea i also use a tablet so I cant help ya with your mouse troubles..sorry
