Haha, yet another lame title. I know the marble wall looks nothing like the gate of time, but I honestly can't be arsed to think of a better title lol. I'll save the good titles for the next shoot for this costume hahaha. XD; I was also thinking about going into my process for this costume a bit here, but decided that it would be more appropriate when the costume is actually finished (as I mentioned on my first SS Zelda submission, the costume wasn't finished in time for this shoot, which is why it's just portraits. ^ ^; ). I hope you all enjoy this photo regardless.

Thanks! ^w^ I actually have sent y pics into Nintendo Power, and was featured in their October 2010 issue, but for some reason, I'm way too nervous to send my work into Nintendo itself. ^ ^;; I wouldn't know where to send it even if I wasn't nervous though. XD;

Really? That's awesome! I got a couple of my very first pics published onto Zelda Wiki, once! (Through, I think, Zelda Eternity.) Hm...I wonder where you would send it? I'll bet there's a "contact us" thing on the Nintendo website somewhere, probably at the bottom...*checks* Yep, down in the gray rectangle, to the left of the ESRB thingy. But I suppose I should see if you can actually send stuff to them...okay, if you click on it, there's a link near the top that says "email us" in bright, bold blue. If you don't attach pics to it, you can send them a link to some of your pics! In fact, I might just do it for you!

For my tabard, I simply appliqued the phoenix using heat 'n' bond and satin stitched the edges. for the border, I cut some wide bias tape and sewed it on the same way one would sew binding on a quilt. I left enough space at the top for the brown sash to slide between the main part of the tabard and the "straps" attaching it to the sash. the tabard is held in place with small snaps.
