Haha, yet another lame title. I know the marble wall looks nothing like the gate of time, but I honestly can't be arsed to think of a better title lol. I'll save the good titles for the next shoot for this costume hahaha. XD; I was also thinking about going into my process for this costume a bit here, but decided that it would be more appropriate when the costume is actually finished (as I mentioned on my first SS Zelda submission, the costume wasn't finished in time for this shoot, which is why it's just portraits. ^ ^; ). I hope you all enjoy this photo regardless.

Compared to other Zelda costumes, it wasn't so difficult. The hardest part for me was finding a fabric in a color I was satisfied with. I ended up with a powder pink fabric and dyed it fuschia lol. And thanks! I'm glad I could be one of your favorites. :3

And if you don't mind me asking, is there any certain method you use to color your eyebrows?

X3 As for my eyebrows, I'm still experimenting here and there, but my current method is to cover my eyebrows with foundation, concealer, and powder, then paint over them with eye shadow that matches my wig color (in this case, I used a bright gold creme eyeshadow, then went over that with a matching powder eyeshadow)I layer the eye shadow until my brows are sufficiently covered.

Thank you. ^ ^ For me, it's really kinda silly considering I've never had a problem with it before, but with this costume, I was insanely picky about the fabric for the dress. Particularly the color. I couldn't find the right color anywhere, so as usual, I decided to dye it. I strived so hard to get that shade of fuchsia. It took me possibly 5 or 6 tries to get it right, and when you're dyeing over 2 yards of fabric over and over again, it gets really exhausting. I'd say it's the biggest reason why this costume has taken me so long to complete. Other than that, The silver belt brooch has been a bit of a challenge. Took me a couple tries to get the top plate curved just right.

that's crazy the amount of effort you put into all your cosplays... I'll bet the fabric was super hard to find.. I'm having the same issue for the bodice of my TP dress, like, I'll spot a perfect colour, but then it would be some pathetically stretchy material, and I'd have to keep looking. I still haven't found anything yet.. :\

Yeah it was pretty tough, and expensive lol. Haha, I totally feel you. My TP Zelda bodice was my first time dyeing fabric. I couldn't find the correct fabric in the correct color to save my life lol.
Actually, I only took two years of sewing class in high school. The rest I learned from online tutorials and commercial patterns.

You always get the wig styling perfect, all the details on the fabric so perfectly, cleanly sewed, and all the resin/jewelry pieces so expertly sculpted. This is why I think of you as my cosplay hero; there isn't one flaw in your work. I'm already floored by what I see of the Skyward Sword costume here ... I can't wait to see the finished product!
