Why is this in your scraps!?!? What a beautiful photo - it seriously brightened up my day and made me smile. The angle, the composition, the colours, the emotion, the light - everything about this makes it a perfect shot.
And I wouldn't worry about what the scanner has done - things like that don't effect the final outcome of a shot like this.
