Description Enso is a type of circle made with ink. It's a zen symbol. You have to draw it in one confident, swift stroke for it to be any good. This tutorial teaches you how to cheat at that part and to put an ink-drawn fish inside the circle. Much like the one in my gallery.

The brush I used was different to the one I originally used. Not sure which one I used the first time... o_O

Tip: For an oriental effect, add in a red ink stamp with your signature inside it.

Thanks for the tutorial! Was able to create something my D&D character would have made of what she thought would represent their adventuring groups emblem/logo. Silverblades Emblem

If you have photoshop, that brush is included in it. It's under the wet media lot.

interesting. I don't know about the scales though. I though the point of ink painting was simplicity I could be totally wrong but w/e. I like the look though.

I can see both sides. If I left out the scales and didnt make the tail go down at the end, it would look simple in a beautiful way. It's personal choice. If I wanted it to be really bad, I'd make the scales just as dark as the rest, but they're lighter.

Anyway I'm going to upload some real ink ones soon so if you're interested in watching... I won't be able to make a tute for the real ones though.

This is my first try at a tute.
