Description
My first tutorialHow to create your own natural-media brushes for Photoshop, from making the inksplats, brushstrokes, chalk and charcoal textures with messy stuff on paper, bringing them into photoshop and then turning them into a PS brush set.

Just a tip.
After scanning, you can Simple Trace the Image and Expand it (Illustrator Work)

This is a very useful tutorial! I have created a few brushes before, but I hadn't thought of doing a natural media brush. Maybe that should be my next project!

This is a really great step-by step tutorial. I have recently learned to use brushes, and was kind of sad to find that there are some brushes that I need that I can't find, and many people just grab images off the internet to make brushes. I started working on some drawings for brushes and realized I have no idea how to make a brush set. Now I know.
