Not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of cats. They're nasty fuckers. Definitely not companion type animals. I don't care much for dogs though either.

I have a mini schnazuer dog,and personally,I think he's a great pet,but he's not the smartest animal on earth.Wolves aren't the smartest animals either.And before you bash me,wolves are one of my fave animals.

Saying "cats are stupid" is you own opinion. And you keep coming up with the same stuff that other cat haters say, while ignoring when people try to make a point to you. You are very heavily opinionated.
Cats could have played a big part of preventing the black plague if people at the time didn't think cats were evil.
They have also played a part in assisting people, weather it be just keeping them relaxed or warning if there is a fire/danger.

Someone (who shall remain unnamed) posted a link to the comment on our groups frontpage. That said you should probably stop replying to comments now because said group is filled with very intellegent and highly opinioned people, and as far as I can tell, you dont stand a chance in a debate with any if them.

there was once a cat that stopped a murderer from taking stuff from the house, and possibly murdering the people IN the house...and you know what? the cat was BLIND. so if you think "cats are stupid" and "you can't do stuff with 'em" then you stick with your opinion..and I don't care, because I know, and I believe, cats are actually USEFUL, and they can even be more helpful than most CANINES.

I heard two amazing cat stories. The first: A handicapped guy was sitting in his wheelchair on his laptop, cat at his side, and a guy came up and tried to steal the laptop. Well, kitty didn't like that, and jumped onto the guys FACE and clawed the shit out of him.
Second story, an older couple was asleep in their house, and they were slowly being poisoned with carbon monoxide. Cats have a special air senser-filter-thing that alerted it to the poisonous air, and it woke its people up and got them out of the house in time, before they died.

Yeah, you don't see cats guiding blind people, looking for surviors in crashes/avalanches, etc. Cats do nothing but stay home.

You have some serious growing up to do.
Dogs are not the only animals on earth that have helped mankind. Horses and cats both play major rolls in our history. Cats are not lazy; they are very, very intelligent. They prevent the spread disease by hunting and killing pests such as mice and rabbits.
And for your information, horses guide blind people too. They are actually used for therapeutic reasons, teaching children how to speak and how to use muscles that never worked before.

Those are good, but they don't help people like dogs. And cats can seriously hurt you(well if theres kids) and they don't really do anything else. >.<

There are actually just as many stories of cats warning their owners about danger as there are of dogs. >_> And cats can't really be trained because they're smart enough to realise that doing tricks is pointless. xD
