It seems Emerald has a message for Ruby Rose.ΒI haven't made an artwork in over a month thanks to sickness and weather. I do hope you all forgive me and thank you very much for the watchers and anyone else who has seen and liked my art so far. I'm trying to improve rest assured.

Giving her a silver-eyed death glared that would haunt her nightmares for years to come, Ruby said "You deserve to live, knowing full well that all of the people who died that night, died because you set off the spark that almost brought about the apocalypse. You were the one who helped make things in this shithole of a world go from bad to worse. What you deserve is to be the most hated person in all of Remnant, knowing full well that you deserve every. Ounce. Of. It." Ruby turned away, sliding the sword into the scabbard she made for it. Without bothering to turn her face, she said to Emerald "Live. Die. I don't care. But I'm not helping you escape your guilt. Deal with it."

What's even more scary to think about it is, no one in the room apart from the bad guys and Ozpin know what Salem looks like, so that must of been extremely frightening especially for Ruby. Our Poor baby Ruby was shaking like a leaf

I like Emerald very much. She's one of my favorite female characters in the series. If this were to ever happen in the actual series, then I hope that Ruby finds it in herself to forgive Emerald for what she did to Penny. I don't ship Ruby with Emerald, but I do hope that Emerald will find redemption and forgiveness to join sides with Ruby against Salem and Cinder.

I'm sorry! But NO!
It doesn't matter if Emerald were to break down and cry a whole bunch in front of Ruby about how she F*&ked up majorly (Or if she had a terrible past in which her mamma and poppa were jerks to her or some stupid, pathetic sob story like that)! It doesn't automatically absolve Emerald of what she and her d-bag partners did to Penny, Pyrrha, Mr. Ozpin, that one book store owner who life Emerald ended in cold blood with no remorse on her part, and Lord knows how many other innocent lives in Vale that they've destroyed/ruined at the end of Volume 3 (It's also clear that nothing came back to bite Ms. Sustrai in the rump for what she did! Not even one small thing resembling guilt on her behalf)!
Emerald has clearly shown the audience she does NOT want to be redeemed/change her ways completely and instead wants to remain evil and preformΒ heinous acts of cruelty (As she along with the other antagonist are all sad lost causes)!
She and the other villains need to die, horrible, painful, miserable deaths and be sent to Hell for all of eternity! Burning in the worst way possible and being ripped in bloody pieces by grimms/or whatever demons are down in the RWBY equivalent of Hell every single hour of the day!Β
Or be placed in a high tech maximum security prison with no chance of the villains easily breaking free (With some tough as shite prison guards who will be beat the piss out of anyone who breaks free)!Β

I feel like there is a sense of redemption with Emerald. I WANT TO SEE THIS personally.

Well since Emerald "had to know" about Penny's artificial Nature in Order for that Plan to work,
i think she knows Penny wasnt created like an actual living Being - and maybe thinks nothing
of what she did. After all, People can see Penny as a Machine and not as a Person, right?
I personally think Penny is an A.I. Not an "actual Being", but more than just a Machine.
Also for me ---> i can accept Penny as a Person, because she was just SO. MUCH. like an actual
one. When i can see R2D2 and C3PO from Star Wars as "Characters" instead as empty Machines
like my own Computer ---> then i can also see Penny as an actual Character(Person).

I know what you mean. a machine with self awareness can scare people like the terminator, unless you learn to understand it and realize it means well like the iron giant.
Plus near the end of season 3 there was a part where the deadly trio was enjoying the misfortune Emerald was the one who felt guilt and pity. She may be those rare individuals who end up fighting for the good guys.

I like the idea of Emerald wishing to redeem herself, throwing herself at Rubys feet and begging for forgiveness, that she truly regrets what she did and what she caused. It will be even better if Ruby has to actually consider it for awhile and not just immediately believe/trust her. If she has to have a moment deciding whether or not vengeance is worth it, or if Emerald is telling the truth and is worth allowing the chance to change.
Villain redemptions are rather common and even cliche, but theres ALOT of potential here for the show to do this well

I agree and even then, it doesn't have to be cliche. Emerald could be like spying on Cinder's plans the entire time who knows O_O she might be a double agent for Raven or something. ahaha but wild theories aside
Emerald may defect but I don't fully think she'll redeem herself. She will want to wsh her hands of guilt though and just run away but she doesn't seem to be the type who might turn full "Hero". Anti-Hero would be okay but I think she'll end up as a Lawful Neutral in the end

Potentially. I dont really see her as a double agent.
If she were to defect though, I actually would imagine her going to the heroes first.
Emerald is someone who has been living on her own for the better part of her life, only finding comfort and companionship when Cinder discovered her and her potential well into her teenage years. Its why shes so fiercely loyal to her at the beginning, because shes the first to give her any attention. While she wasnt the most moral person, stealing and even fighting, its another thing to her to fully destroy an entire city, hence her visible regret.
Because of her attachment to Cinder though, realiziing just how dangerous she is and that its not a good idea to be around her, I could imagine her being just lost should she leave Cinder. Being lost, I would imagine her to at least at some point finding the heroes and coming clean.

There's a pattern I've been enlightened to, over the years.
Any enemy with the colour green in their palette will eventually become a good guy.
The most prominent examples that come to mind are Piccolo from Dragon Ball, and as a friend of mine pointed out, Peridot, from SU.
I really hope Emerald can get added to the list of lean green redemption.

I want Emerald to do her own thing though. I know the show is about team work and all that, but Emerald is such an awesome character I want her to like be her own thing that's not on the villains or the hero's side but a neutral more balanced Gray side.Β

Seems like Emerald might join Wash and Locus' club, Redemption Club. She'll probably need to bring the weapon of the former ally she help betrayed, write down the moments she felt guilty and the name of the person she helped killed before starting to fell guilty.
